Hello reader. In today’s post, we are going to be covering what should be included in a Twitter Bio. Many people don’t realise but the Twitter bio is a very important aspect of your whole profile. Your Twitter bio can instantly tell your potential customers your whole ideals.

The twitter bio isn’t the same as your Facebook page bio this is because the twitter bio is restrained with a character limit. The character limit is damaging if your slogan is long as you might want to include it but also include other information e.g. contact information. The bio needs to be written and rewritten to be mastered.

The bio can literally be a deal breaker for some customers. What I mean by this is the quality of your bio decides how a potential customer judges and views your business.

Your twitter bio should convey the language of your business. When I say language of the business I mean the tone in which you talk to clients and potential customers. It’s also a good idea to add your therapy bio or slogan in your bio and this will help convey the house style of your brand. Your house style isn’t only the look and colours of your business, it’s also the way you write and the tone you use.

I am going to list the do’s and don’t’s for your bio.

  • Add your email
  • Add a little information about your business
  • Contact information


  • Add your phone number
  • Credit Card details
  • Bank Pin
  • Relationship status

In conclusion, make sure to keep your bio clean and sharp and make sure it clearly conveys the ideas of your brand. The brand should be recognised purely from the bio, if you can master this you’re on the right tracks to an incredible brand. The bio should be easy to read. What I mean by this is, it shouldn’t be confusing in anyway as you don’t want to turn away potential clients before you even get them through the door.
